Frequently Asked Questions
What counts toward a webhook?
A webhook is an incoming request that is sent to one final destination. If you split request to two or more destinations, each of those destinations will count as a webhook request. If you filter one or more destinations, that webhook will count as a 1/10 of a webhook. Failed requests to a destination (regardless of number of retries) will only count as a single webhook.
How are filtered request counted against my usage?
Each filtered request counts as 1/10 of a sent request. Under the billing section of the console, usage calculations are shown to the tenth decimal place to account for filtered requests.
Do retry attempts count toward my usage?
No. Retries attempts to a destination do not count as an additional request. If you retry 1 time or 10 times, the requests are still considered a single request.
What happens if I go over my plan total?
Each plan (excluding the free tier) will allow you to continue using the service even if you go over to allocated webhooks. Each plan has a defined overage rate that will be billed automatically to your credit card the following month.
Can I update my plan to avoid overage charges?
Yes. If you are in the middle of a billing term, you can upgrade you plan before or after you go over your limit to a plan that is within your usage range to avoid overage charges.
What happens if I upgrade/downgrade my plan in the middle of a subscription term?
All plan changes are immediate and charges are prorated. If you upgrade your plan, you will immediately have access to the new features and limits. If you downgrade you plan, your credit card will be refunded the prorated difference immediately.
